hi everyone today we're going to take a look at this 12 volt power supply it's meant to be capable of pushing up to 10 amps now for my regular viewers who are wondering what this is all about I'm just protecting the desk from getting scratched so that's all that is so the first thing I'm going to do is just open this up so we can have a look inside now it's not going to be a technical teardown or anything like that it's just going to be a very quick look inside so now you can see inside what you'll notice is that there's a plastic sheet I don't know how easily you'll see that in the camera but there's a plastic sheet in there that separates the bottom of the PCB from this metal and obviously this mess was acting as a heat sink and that's why they've got the transistors bolted on to there now as I said this isn't going to be a technical teardown but I will let you have a look in there yo
