GE Microcassette Recorder Model 35379A

in this episode I'm going to look at a little GE micro cassette recorder this is a little dictation machine that was brought in not working probably not worth fixing but we're gonna give it a shot here and see we can do anything with it so this is a micro cassette dictation machine or micro cassette recorder that was brought over by a neighbor for me to check out I haven't tried anything on it yet but this is this is the smallest of the analog cassette formats that was developed now there was a mini cassette as well and the difference is a mini cassette was a rim drive system and there was no capstan a shaft on a car controller and then the the micro cassette was developed a couple of years later to solve all the problems at the rim drive system had which was typically very high at Wow and flutter so these ones here and the difference between a tape like this and a conventional cassette
