Hello Guys and Girls it's Lurgs here. Welcome to my Mini World and today how to check and also charge the battery on your Mini First Generation. This is the R50 R52 and R53. So before we get started let's have a nice cup of tea! (Hey careful Man there's a beverage here huh). Oh lovely, right so first of all we need to open the bonnet there's another video about that on my channel very simple. So come around the front of the motor there's a small little lever underneath the bonnet (or the hood) lift that up and the battery is actually here just under a little plastic cover. So just pull that clip in gently and then just lift and at the back you've got like a rubber housing just lift that up and then the plastic cover just lifts away. There we go. And there is the battery....'Bosch'. So that actually looks pretty good but I've had trouble starting it today so I think the the voltage is qu
