the Nielsen kellerman tripod adapter appears to be made out of a ferrous material in other words it's iron magnetic material so when weather instrument is installed on the tripod adapter the compass doesn't work and we'll test it out here with a compass and watch the needle swing as I bring it near the tripod adapter so effectively this wind instrument cannot be used with Lisa Nielsen Kellerman tripod it down
