[Music] [Music] hi everyone so in this video we're gonna take a look how to take the logic board from MacBook Pro Retina late 2013 and this is a 15 inch model to open the laptop you're going to need pentalobe screwdriver you can get one of those on eBay for like $5 the two screws that are circled in blue are different size so keep them organized so you don't lose track now lift up the bottom panel with one hand you need to wiggle it a little and then it snaps off this is how much dust it accumulated in one year before we do anything else we need to disconnect the battery lift up the sticker and disconnect the battery connector use the Torx t4 screwdriver to unscrew the heatsink there is a spring-like mechanism so at the end you don't want to push the screwdriver too hard by the way I'm editing the video on this machine and it still works so hooray it is arguably one of the best Mac book
