hi and welcome to this edition of out the box my name is paul today we're going to be having a look at what is in this box this is the ubiquity edge router the er12 so if you've seen any of these before this is not meant to be a technical overview it is meant to show you what you've got in the box and maybe just a few things of where we think this would fit in your network so in the box you are going to get the edge router we're going to look at that a moment you are going to get the ever getting small get started guide from ubiquity on the back the hopefully helpful qr code remember this device is an on box managed i use a web browser to access it and make changes directly on the unit it doesn't plug into any manageable controllable system like the unifi switches or the usg does you could though plug this into ubiquiti's unms the ubiquity management system as a potential if you wanted
