hey guys got a brand new video for you today and today we're looking at the Fuji 56 millimeter F 1 point 2 versus the Fuji 56 millimeter F 1 point 2 APD and basically I want to see if there's actually really any major difference between the two lenses because one is worth about five hundred dollars more and that's quite substantial when you're looking at two lenses that have the same aperture and basically the same build quality one has kind of some unique magic to it and I want to show you guys that in some samples but basically what the APD is an appetiser filter that's inside one of the elements that's closest to the aperture and that basically acts like a simulated soft aperture ring around the outside edges of the lens that give you this kind of like soft creamy bokeh so any bokeh balls generally are caused by the aperture and you get kind of like a hard edge ring around it basical
