in this video we're going to look at drawing 3d shapes using isometric paper so here's the 3d shape and we have a cuboid with the dimensions four centimeters six centimeters and two centimeters this is isometric paper sometimes isometric paper has dots sometimes it has triangles it doesn't matter which one you get we're going to use four dots the important thing is but we have this the correct way so this is a correct whip so let's go ahead and draw this 3d shape I can start where I want what I'm going to do is start now with this four centimeter line just here so what I'm going to do is 4 centimeter line and I'm going to show that by 4 dots so I'm coming in 1 2 3 and then I'm going to have 4 so that now gives me before centimeter side try and be as accurate as possible on the computer it's not always easy to do this but if you've got a good pencil and ruler it should work out quite nic
