WAYS TO ADD A BLUETOOTH RECEIVER TO YOUR CAR
1. AUX-in
If your car has an AUX port, simply plug the bluetooth receiver into your car's AUX port, your stereo 3.5mm AUX input. Bluetooth picks up the audio signal sent from your phone and pair your smart phone to the Bluetooth receiver. The wireless signal is decompressed and converted to an analog signal. Your stereo then amplifies the signal it receives.
2. No Aux Port(Connect via FM Transmitter)
FM transmitters are really only recommended for those who do not have AUX inputs in their vehicles. FM transmitters send audio to a radio frequency. Just connect your smart phone to the FM transmitter via Bluetooth, then tune your car's stereo to the same frequency as the FM transmitter.
