the nikon d5000 was released back in 2009 now at the time it cost around 700 nowadays you can find it used for about a hundred and fifty dollars so just what do you get with this 12 year old camera well there's a 12.3 megapixel sensor and 11 point autofocus system and a 230k 2.7 inch lcd screen that flips downward and it also turns all the way around so you can actually see yourself when you're filming or taking pictures build quality on the d5000 is actually pretty good you know for a small camera it's actually got a little bit of weight to it d5000 kind of comes in that low middle range you know it's not as fancy as say the d90 or the d300 but it's not as low end as the d3000 it's pretty good it just kind of sits right there in between auto focus on the nikon d5000 is surprisingly good considering what it is you know you've only got 11 autofocus points but somehow someway nikon manage
