there's been a lot of bad reviews on these tabs and these hanging file folders I think they're absolutely wonderful a lot of people complained that they couldn't figure out how to put the tabs in that are provided you basically cut the labels apart it's a wide spot along with a skinny spot because that is perforated and ready for bending okay then you write your label or print your label whatever you want then you separate the plastic tab put your thumb in between in between there and put the wide one up okay now comes the very very very hard part that everyone is really complaining about they don't think they're complaining about putting the label in at least I hope not on these hanging files you have these pre set holes and you want to set it in there slide it in one of the holes can you see that and then you bend it slightly and put it in the adjoining hole you skip a hole and put it
