the 12 by 15 inch bowtie antenna tube a bowtie antenna mount it on a reflector okay why is it a 12 by 15 the elements are 12 inches long from that point to this point is 12 inches the separation between the bottom and the very top is 15 inches with the feed point dead center there is no cross over cross phasing is not necessary it's only two bays and this is fitted to a reflector that was already mounted and I took the hover man off and put the tube a up this solves my lower UHF frequency problems I had an issue with channel 16 and I had no idea I still don't know what it was but this helped I imagine I'm just receiving a better signal picking up more signal the larger elements helped I had a nine and a half by mine bowtie here that didn't help the hub Herrmann worked well but not a hundred percent but this solved the issue and I've heard around the country people having issues with som
