[Music] hi everyone and welcome back to another video review by mere lessons today we're going to be talking about a very special product from Sam Young Rokinon the 50-millimeter 1.4 autofocus prime lens why is it so special you might ask well it's the first autofocus lens from the brand along with the Sam young 14 millimeter F 2.8 and that's not all while they could have decided to give these lenses to DSLRs like Canon and Nikon they decided to design them exclusively for the sony e-mount instead now this isn't to say that they won't make auto focus lenses for dslr's in the future but I find it quite telling that they decided to give the e-mount priority the 50-millimeter 1.4 joins seven other standard full-frame prime lenses for the sony e-mount system it has a solid metal construction but it is also quite large and heavy which is why it's a better match for full frame bodies than aps
