here's the latest Manfrotto video fluid head this is the mvh 500 the unique thing about this video fluid head is its using a new drop-in system that means the plate has to come off the top so you you pull this tab down comes off the top and then you can lock it in place by dropping it back down you're no longer going to slide the plate back and forth it has a catch mechanism here so it doesn't fall off but you can't insert it by sliding in order to get the plate on and off you have to come off the top so one question is this plate it's a little bit different as you can see there's a slotted little catch here this tab so people are wondering how compatible their old plates are going to be or if this is going to be compatible with their old system so these plates are here unique and they will not work with the older video fluid heads so I've tried that it does not work but here we have an
