hi I'm Steve Teresa's the director of training and technical services here at JL Audio the amplifier I have here is the xD 400 / 4 this is a pretty neat little amplifier it gets it's compact size thanks to our next D switching technology what Nixie is really all about is making the amplifier incredibly efficient which really means that it's going to draw less power from your electrical system and generate less heat because there's less heat we need a smaller heatsink and we get a very compact size since all the connections are on one side of the amplifier it makes the installation much much easier and much much cleaner it's a 4 channel amplifier so you have a bunch of different system configurations the most obvious one would be 4 channels typically front and rear additionally you could bridge either pair of channels so another option might be to bridge the two rear channels to a subwoo
