this is a demonstration on how to connect a corded plantronics headset to a polycom ip phone flip your phone over and you're going to see the cable ports in the back of the phone the first port is your ethernet internet port this provides internet to the phone the second port may or may not be used it provides computer access or other ancillary items access to the internet via the phone the third port is a headset switch you're going to see a headset icon here the next and last port is the cable port for the handset back to the phone and you'll see a handset icon there what you're going to do is take the cable that was provided with the plantronics headset and connect it to the headset port of the phone then the other end of that headset will look like this it's a quick disconnect point for the cable you can snap and unsnap the actual headset from this point that way you don't have to r
