hey what's up guys Phil here and this is a review of the Rubin laptop lock this is the laptop lock you've got two identical keys to open it with a cable in this lock is about six and a half feet long it's made of a strong vinyl coated braided steel cable so what you want to do is secure this to some fixed object like an immovable desk leg or railing by looping the cable around it then feeding the lock through the small loop at the other end then using the key open the t-bar and insert it into your laptop's lock port it'll look like this tiny rectangle here twist the key to lock it and then remove it now the lock is secured to your laptop and the cable is secured to the desk so this will keep your laptop from mysteriously disappearing when you get up to use the bathroom at the library the lock is on ball bearings so it can swivel to avoid tangles with the cable to remove it from your lap
