[Music] so today we're going to be installing a battery in a late 2008 macbook pro 15 inch unibody in the footage you're watching right now you can see me unboxing the battery and unwrapping it on the late 2008 15 inch it has an easy to access hatch where you can put the battery as you can see i have now removed that hatch and i'm now slotting the battery inside [Music] [Music] to install the rear hatch just simply slot it into place and then push it down firmly until the clip goes down as you can see the battery had some capacity when i installed it powering on the macbook without any external power we see the macbook safely boots up and goes through its apfs boot [Music] loader [Music] opening up coconut battery we can see that the battery has 5200 milliamp hours and is now currently supporting 99.9 capacity we can also see the batteries fairly new at just 201 days old and only two ch
