hello and welcome to another Channel 2012 laptop repair video today we have on the table the a13 for 2 model unibody style apple macbook now they hide batteries in these things pretty well but no worries I've got you covered to get to the battery you will need a small standard Phillips screwdriver a small Nintendo style screwdriver and of course a replacement battery you can get those on eBay for around 40 to 45 dollars let's get started place the laptop facedown on a flat surface and begin by removing the 8 Phillips screws that hold the bottom cover in place pry up to remove that bottom cover now disconnect the batteries power connector by pulling straight up on it next grab your small Nintendo style screwdriver and remove the screws here here and over here locate your other screwdriver and remove the three screws here on the bottom of the battery from here lift on the pull tab pull th
