[Music] Oh welcome to a less fix computers I've got HP Envy 360 here which does not power on when you plug it in to any charger there's no light on the charger and what actually happens is the charger cuts out if I grab a charge lead which now I've hit the record button has just suddenly slipped my gaze I think that might be it there's one let me show you what's going on here if I plug this guy in this is just a this is a a cable I'd cut off of an old charger I normally use these when I'm running laptops directly off my DC power supply so I plug that into the side of the laptop and I'ma get my multimeter here and put it into resistance mode and if we just stick the probes across the two wires of the charger we have about 24 kilo ohms and rising which is very low on a normal laptop I expect to see a hundred or more killer ohms so 23 killer ohms means that there's a short circuit somewher
