[Music] again and welcome to shed world today we're going to be looking at some 12-volt power supplies in relation mostly to power in this sort of LED strip or the 12-volt pre-wired LEDs that sort of thing okay so let's take a look at a couple of them here this is one I've just received on eBay for about six or seven pounds something like that we're gonna look at the labeling because that's pretty important on these things so if we lift it here we've got the model number and then we've got the input which is this stuff so this is mains input so it does range from 100 to 240 okay so that's the UK mains voltage and this thing you don't have to worry about that that is the hertz frequency of our AC power supply in this country which is 50 and this is the important bit this is the output so we have a 12 volt output and this symbol here which is a solid line over the top of a dashed line mea
