alright hey everybody david henrie from wearing stage lighting comm here and in this video I want to go over how to wire DMX so DMX is the signal that we use from lighting consoles like this to control lights like these and wiring it is really simple let's dive in first thing I'm gonna do is grab a DMX cable I'm gonna take it out of my console and plug it in to my first light now we can see the consoles connected to the first light and if I select my first fixture here I'm able to get control of my light red green and blue let's leave it on green now we'll go ahead and plug in our second light grab my cable perfect come out of the first light and right in to the input on the second light so we've used the DMX output on the first light we're coming to the second light here so now we've come out of our console into our first light from the DMX out of our first light into our second light
