all right YouTube today I'm gonna be changing the antenna mast cable on a 2006 Silverado 2500 this is the same 499 through 2006 Silverados 1500 2500 3500 Trail Blazers Colorado's and there's a whole slew vehicles that all use the exact same cable and the exact same problem one thing I will say if you have one of these vehicles chances are it was delivered with a six millimeter stud and that cable is no longer available so if you're thinking well I have a bad cable or the stud is bad or something's bad you will also need to order a seven millimeter mast because the new cable is seven millimeter and that's an update the general motors did to the existing cable this cable I'm using here today is not made by General Motors it's actually made by a company called antenna source comm they don't sponsor this video they don't sponsor anything that I do but I found him on eBay they're pretty easy
