alright guys so we got our double did navigation unit ready to go its ISO mounted with the supplied metric dash kit for the Toyota now let's left is our navigation antenna now the manufacturer does recommend that this antenna does go on the outside of the vehicle just like a Sirius XM antenna when you put on the metal surface it doubles the antenna strength or the size of the antenna what they say and they recommend it be on the outside the vehicle well tell you this these antennas are not as durable as a Sirius XM intended to be honest with you not only that I prefer to have something hidden I don't like wires on the dash I don't like these antennas on the dash so from my experience you guys may differ but by putting these antennas on the inside of the - I have yet to notice any signal loss any signal strength decrease anything of that matter or any complaints so I typically find a nic
