today i'm gonna do a screen replacement for an acer aspire v5531 as you can see the screen is pretty badly broken and i ordered um a new screen off laptopscreens.com and it was the cheapest one i could find on the internet and it came really fast i ordered it on tuesday and then um it arrived on thursday so um the new screen is here and take it out of its casing as you can see it's the right size and it uh fits all the specifications that i um ordered and now the first step is to turn off your computer you then want to proceed to unplug the computer so that way it doesn't have a charge and then now remove the battery from its casing now that the battery is removed you're going to want to stick a screwdriver into the bottom of the screen so it creates a cavity for you to put your finger into to help pry it off so you can see that's the cavity there mine had already started peeling at the
