this is Eugene and Ruth which I'm the laptop screen doc the website is wwe.com and today we're going to show you how to replace a cracked screen on an Acer Aspire 57:42 Z laptop also it can work on an Acer 57:42 laptop and I assume some of the other laptops from the Acer 5700 series okay so the first thing that we need to do to replace the screen is to remove the plastic frame and here's the tools that we need for the job today we need a pair of metal tweezers a small electronics screwdriver with a pH one bit in a pH zero bit and then exacto knife okay in order to remove the plastic frame we have to remove two screws here they're hiding behind sub covers and in order to remove these covers we need to use our exacto knife and try to lift them up without damaging them not to bard or this laptop there's one and there's two well I do this some safety precautions always take that battery out
