in this video i'm going to show you how i replaced a backup camera on my 2015 acura tlx i sourced it from an auto part recycler it costs about 90 dollars to to purchase this part as always ensure that you consult a licensed mechanic before doing any projects on your own vehicle the important thing to note on this backup camera is that there are two connections one's a wire and that comes out and the other one is a plug that you plug into also note that this camera does have the trunk release button installed in it as well so you're not just replacing the camera you're replacing the trunk release the first thing i did is remove my license plate cover it'll just make this job a little bit easier open up your trunk and you're going to want to remove these plastic grommets that are holding the fiberglass layer inside the vehicle i used a pair of adjustable pliers to remove this and go ahead
