hello everybody in this episode of throttle grotto we're going to talk about re-taping a wiring harness for your car why you should do it and what you should [Music] use all right everybody so this week one of the things i have to do before i can take the dots out and drive it is to actually make sure that the lights work if you look back really far in the episodes uh you see early on where i replaced the tail lights that came on it which were some vw square back tail lights which were absolutely not right for the car with the actual dots and tail lights whoever did that in the process cut all the wiring out that went to the factory tail lights so fortunately for me i've parted out a couple of these cars and i kept the tail light harness from one of the cars that i parted out now this harness is in pretty good shape there's a couple of wires in here that are cut pretty minor like there'
