the JAF series door stations connect to the jf2 meed master using a two conductor 18 gauge wire this should be a solid non shielded polyethylene insulated wire for this demonstration we're using the eighth own-brand wire part number 87 one eight zero two first we wire the a1 and a2 terminals at the door station then the a1 a2 terminals at the master station verify you have the same color on the a1 and a2 terminals at each end if needed connect the second door to the a1 and a2 terminals labeled door to the jf2 meed requires 18 volts DC this is provided by the PS 1820 ul power supply connect the positive and negative terminals on the power supply to the positive and negative terminals on the master station for maximum wire distances and additional connection configurations you will need to review the installation manual
