so we've done a slight upgrade on the hook tips on our face mask straps we weren't using a standard blue hook tip which is a standard sew-on tape and it was welded to this double-sided velour which is nice and soft on the back of your head what we found is that after a period of time the hook tip was starting to build up with lint like you do on a pair of shoes with a hook and loop closure this gets full and it's quite hard to clean um quite hard to get all that lint out so what we've opted to go for we've changed from them to the plastic molded hook it's really hard to see it's quite a low profile hook beauty of this is it doesn't build up as bad with lint and also if it does you can get even an old toothbrush or something in there to just drag out that lint anything in there um it offers the same closure it's uh it's easy to separate as a pull apart closure as you as you normally use
