hey guys Chris Guerra here with the drummer's guide to gear going to be doing a little quick tip cheap memory lock if you don't have stands with memory locks this is a tip I learned from my old school drummer many years ago 20 plus years so what I have here is a hose clamp you can pick these up at your local auto parts store walmart hardware store it takes a flathead screwdriver or socket i'm not sure what size socket that will fit but you could used to use a flathead screwdriver so what I have here is a hose clamp what I have over here is a very cheap stand no memory locks anywhere on it very light stand I just use it for a splash so it doesn't have to be real heavy so as you all know memory locks just make it a lot faster when you're setting up if you're playing live somewhere your stands will be pretty much exactly the way you like them so when you have a cheaper stand like this with
