Organic plant-based protein How did you come up with the idea for this product? I’ve always had a strong interest in healthy, active living. But, like many others, I’ve felt trapped trying to find balance on the endless wheel of modern-day life. Always believing nutrition was the foundation to overall wellness, I set out to find different ways to improve my health. I founded ALOHA, built on my passion for creating responsibly made, high-quality products and simple health solutions. Together with my fearless and hardworking team, we’re making a difference on our journey towards better health and happiness. What makes your product special? We make snacks, supplements and teas that promote a healthy intake of protein and nutrients using only plant-based ingredients, which is pretty rare in terms of packaged goods. We use very few ingredients and they are all vegan, gluten-free and organic; but our stuff is easy to grab on-the-go. Our products make proper nutrition always accessible, no matter how busy you are. What’s really special about ALOHA products is that not only do we skip all the bad ingredients and unnecessary chemicals and additives, but we also pack them with protein and nutrients. We found that a lot of other health brands had all the right elements in place in terms of using few, whole ingredients; but they would leave you feeling unsatisfied and hungry. Our products are built to energize. What has been the best part of your startup experience? Being able to bring people together and align them behind a singular vision has probably been my favorite aspect of startup life. I’m always passionate about what I do and that excitement is contagious; I use it to inspire my team, my investors, my industry and eventually my customers. Meeting these amazing people and motivating them to get behind my idea is the most exhilarating feeling. It’s the main reason why I love being an entrepreneur.
