The PSS-31GM 3-Way Sound System fits the 2014-up Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra (it is not compatible with Crew Cab models equipped with the Bose factory system). The 500-watt sound system is Alpine engineered to look and sound great in these trucks and includes everything you need for a quality sound upgrade: speaker system, subwoofer, amplifier, and all necessary installation accessories - including wire harness and connectors. The SPT-31GM Speaker System transforms the truck’s speaker system from a 2-way to a 3-way system using 8-inch woofers for the front doors, 3-inch midrange speakers with 1-inch silk dome tweeters for the dash, and 6.5-inch coaxial speakers for the rear doors. The speakers and tweeters fit in the truck’s factory speaker locations and come with mounting adapters to optimize their position and angle for the best possible sound reproduction. The dash-mounted tweeter pods protect the 3-inch speakers and house the 1-inch tweeters, and the tweeters are angled toward the front-seat listeners for optimum sound image and stage. The innovative Zero Space Subwoofer assembly comes with a specifically tuned enclosure for 2014-up GM trucks. It installs to the back wall behind the rear seat, so it doesn’t take up any valuable cabin space. The subwoofer is tuned for low bass and creates low-frequency extension by coupling to the cabin vents behind the seat and the vehicle's unique cabin air space.
