[Music] hey I'm Karl with apt we're here at CES 2017 we're in the Alpine booth and we've got Chris here we're standing at the new x-series speaker area within Alpine Chris can you tell us a little bit about the new x-series of speakers absolutely so the X series of speakers we had one goal in mind which is again incredible imaging in order to achieve that we had to do a couple things like this new pulp cone which is a very rigid cone of course rigidity means that there's low distortion we have a new carbon graphite tweeter which means it's a very stiff but light tweeter great for high frequency reproduction one thing we were really interested in doing is making sure that we had even Monali motor linearity okay which means it has very low distortion and sounds great obviously we did a couple things with the motor to maximize the magnetic strength against the voice coil and very very thin
