hello I'm Kate from ornamental tree nurseries and this is a video on staking large trees this method of staking can be used for all large trees we will be staking a large containerized tree you can see more about planting containerized root ball and bare root trees on our websites help and advice section to stake this tree we will require a staking kit sledgehammer claw hammer and saw firstly disassemble the kit put a stake either side of the root mass slightly off-center and drive in firmly keeping the stakes upright Beks the crosspiece to the states using the longer nails provided so off any access crosspiece thread the strap through the slots in the buffer seating the tree between the bus strap fix the straps using the shorter nails ensuring the tree remains upright and firmly seated in the buffer the tree is now securely staked complete the planting as instructed in our planting tre
