hi in this video we're going to take a look at getting a constant current LED driver working so this is a continuation of my home lighting project and I've had these PCBs made by a jlc PCB and again I've gone for the blue finish with the immersion gold and it's worth pointing out that you can get your PCBs made by gel CPCB in any color that they offer for no additional cost so the base price for these PCBs is $2 if your ball is under 10 by 10 centimeters obviously things like the immersion gold are additional extras but this is a PCB designed to drive 1 or 3 watt LEDs with variable brightness with a constant current switch mode regulator so the particular regulator that we're using on this design which I've never used before is a fp7 1:03 so we're going to take a look at this today Stephen get it working it's a very low cost regulator so I think it cost something like 40 or 50 cents so
