hello and welcome to the uawc instructional series of videos in this installment we're going to replace the battery in a mid-2009 13-inch MacBook Pro when replacing the battery in this machine it's important that you calibrate the power management system in order to get the full use of your battery we include these instructions as well so be sure to watch all the way to the end of the video we've already gathered our materials shut down and unplug the MacBook Pro and are working on a soft static free surface we are now ready to begin the first step is to close the MacBook Pro and flip it over on the bottom our 10 Phillips screws which will need to be removed these three screws are longer than the others so we'll remove them first then remove the remaining seven screws which are all the same size you can now lift the bottom cover off and set it aside detach the battery connector by lifti
