The M240C is an intermediate student microscope, ideal for the middle school or high school level. This biological microscope has a monocular head which can be rotated 360° for varied ergonomics. The three-lens turret lets you easily switch between a 4X, 10X, and 40X objective lens. The 10X eyepiece compounds the magnification to a total range of 40X to 400X. An additional 25X eyepiece extends the range to 1000X. Focus is controlled with coaxial knobs for coarse and fine adjustments. The sub-stage light and condenser provide illumination for slide-mounted specimens.
