The DB9 female crimp connector is used to
make serial cables. By using this connector, you can specify the
pin out on the cable, i.e. standard, null modem, or custom. The connector accepts female crimp-style pins
and fits into a wide variety of DB9 hoods. This item is sold by itself without pins or
hoods. However, if you need a hood or pin, they are
available in a kit. See our part #1109CK-F.
