okay so what we're looking at here are the original ipod earbuds they became famous and iconic when everyone and their grandmother decided that they wanted iPods and this design lasted for a few years but it evolved and with the introduction of the second I pod nano Apple introduced a modified design for the stock earbuds slightly more ergonomic you can see them side-by-side here is the new version the new redesigned version had this rubber rim which made it easier to keep in your ears comfortably for longer periods of time I'm not sure that they tinkered too much with the sound there weren't that many drastic improvements in that department but they were definitely more comfortable than the than the original earbuds moving on we have the stock iPhone earbuds that ship with all iPhones and you can see that they maintained the redesign of the bud itself from the second generation nano bu
