today the gunpowder plot is still commemorated every year on the 5th of november famously a man was found sitting on barrels of gunpowder which had been stored underneath the houses of parliament which would have blown up the king and the government to kingdom come in previous videos we have covered the fate of the most infamous plotter who planned to blow up parliament and james the first guy fawkes we've also looked at the many other plotters involved in the religiously motivated plan to assassinate much of the royal family and the government but there were a number of other executions that took place to instill justice upon those who did conspire and plot against a government in the monarchy we all know about guy fawkes and his execution following being brutally tortured but what happened to other members of the plot in this video we'll look at the brutal execution of the gunpowder p
