hey guys so welcome back to the 4x2 wagon family and today we're going to be putting on a brand new div cover under the rear differential so you might be asking well why would you want to replace your differential cover well believe it or not there's fair amount of torque that happens as you're off-roading where your housing can actually move just a little bit and if you think about the gap between the ring gear and the pinion pinion it's about the size of a you know a couple sheets of paper it's really thin and also when you add the torsional flex that's happening the professionals are saying is that it can cause gear damage to your ring gear or your pinion gear is that torsional flex that's happening now it's very little but it's enough you don't need a whole lot to cause any damages so by having a really good solid differential cover we'll actually strengthen the housing quite a bit
