today we're gonna talk about the fan extender this is a little device that clips on to your servo ports in order to enable you to add additional fans to your configuration so I'm going to review a couple things real quick in order to use it and then I'll show you the fan extruder up close and explain that first of all we have our two pins right here these are our 12-volt pins this one is voltage on this board and ground is the other one then we have our pins for our servos now this rail is ground this rail is five volts but you won't need to use it so you can take the jumper off the VCC and the five volt so that you don't have to energize this rail and then the final pins on this rail are your D11 or digital pin then you have D^ then you have D5 and then D4 so in a moment I'll show you how to set this up after I show you the fan extender this is the top side of the fan extender you have
