ASC Universal Subwoofer 12" Spacer Ring adds 3/4" Depth to Sub Box Enclosure

hey guys this is Matt I'm gonna be showing you a mounting depth tutorial basically I'm kind of fed up with getting questions about woofers that have a magnet as big as the mounting diameter and saying well your box says it has six inches worth of mounting depth and I got this big woofer that's 10 inches tall and it won't fit well that's because the magnet determines mounting depth if you look here you measure mounting depth from the middle you don't measure mounting depth from the shallow end you don't measure it from the high end we base magnet we base our mounting depth on a five and a half to six inch diameter magnet the bigger the magnet is the less it takes away from your mounting depth so you always have to take that into consideration before ordering a box like I said this one has about 6 and 5/8 to 6 and 3/4 this is going to house an Alpine SWR 10 d2 which is a massive woofer al
