this is a guide on replacing a screen on an asus f515j for the replacement process we'll need the following tools an exacto knife a small phillips screwdriver a heap gun a plastic pick and a metal pick to begin turn up the laptop and disconnect the power cord the bezel is held in place with two phillips screws in the bottom corners use an x-acto knife to remove two tiny pieces of plastic covering the screws remove the screws start removing the bezel using both hands pull the bezel away from the screen start from the left side then go around the perimeter and snap in the tabs underneath separate the hinge cover remove the bezel the lcd screen is slightly glued to the plastic cover we need a heat gun to soften the glue warm up both sides of the top cover using a plastic pick start separating the lcd screen move the plastic peg along the right and left sides of the screen once separation h
