hi I'm Pete from RC car action magazine and today we're talking about Traxxas ID charging technology but before we talk about the id Tech let's look at a standard nickel metal lipo charger and we can do that with this tracks easy peak plus 6 amp now as you probably familiar with we have a separate balance board to plug the lipo into so we can balance charge the battery when else have a separate plug to plug the battery into and with this charger we have to tell it what kind of battery we have whether it's a life or nickel metal we have to select the amp rate anywhere up to 6 amps with this charger so maybe 1.2 amps for 12 under million pack or 6 amps for 6000 million pack but we have to tell the charger if it's if it's a lipo nickel metal of what amp rate we want to choose with ID charging we don't have to do any of that anymore in fact you will see that there is any kind of a balance p
