[Music] welcome back to hardware unboxed today we're jumping back into monitor reviews to check out the nixius nx edg 274k which is a product that generated quite a bit of interest when it was announced earlier this year it was supposed to come out in the first quarter based on the launch information but with this pesky pandemic situation we're only starting to see it hit the market now the idea behind this display is simple offer a 27 inch 4k 144 hertz gaming monitor at a lower price than existing offerings such as ace's nitro xv 273k we know that high refresh 4k ips panels are quite expensive often retailing for over one thousand dollars so this isn't exactly going to be a cheap display that's in the price range of many buyers but with nixie's offering this display for as low as eight hundred dollars it does present a price reduction for the technology which is always nice to see the
