hello and welcome to another video I've been taking a little bit of a break from YouTube just to take better care of myself which is always a good thing I hope you've been surviving the year 2020 it's been quite a year and that's all I'm gonna say about that today's topic is going to be pretty straightforward we're talking about jazzmaster potentiometers more specifically replacing those if need be I ran into a situation with my jazz master where the volume potentiometer at full range or around 10 was cutting out and not making a full connection I'll show you more of that later in the video but suffice it to say the volume was not working properly so let's not briefly about potentiometers their values and what comes stock in a jazz master so typically with single coil guitars and the most fenders you will find 250 K value pots and Gibson's you'll find 500 K and a jazz master believe it
