[Music] hi I'm Catherine and today I'm going to be giving you a little tip for your parenting that has helped me hugely in mine and it's called the reward chart so it's basic sticker chart and you can use it for absolutely anything that you are struggling with in your parenting with behavior issues or with sleeping issues food issues anything that you can think of studies have shown that kids are always much more receptive to things like rewards and they don't necessarily respond as well to things like punishment so if you turn a beer away from punishment as a tactic in your home for good behavior why not try something like a reward based program okay so how we've used reward charts or sticker charts in our house are for two different things we've got a daughter for in a son of 7 nearly 8 so they have different things that they're needing to work towards in terms of their behavior so my
