okay today I'm going to upgrade the RAM the memory on this HP netbook it's a mini 110 3100 series first thing you want to do is obviously have it shut down which I've already done and then on the back there's two old taps here push those and pop the battery out and this is the easiest one I've ever done it's got a little orange tab right here and when you push that over the bottom just pops right out sometimes one side will catch a little more than the other but now the bottom is off and then with a small phillips screwdriver you're going to take these two screws out where the memory is located right here now little pleat lifts up and there's your memory module pop that out and pop in the new one make sure you do not touch the part right here no oil on your fingers any kind of contact points like that can actually cause it to it's not really rust but the brass part will corrode that was
